Black pepper up front. Spicy flavor. Citrus and malts are present.

Mischief 750ml, 8.5% - USA

Pours murky orange with a white, frothy head. Lacing is noticeable.

Hoppy aroma. Fruit with yeast.

Malty, hoppy and fruity flavor. Slightly spicy towards the end.

Groene Hart Bier 330ml, 5% - Netherlands

The fermentation in the beer is unbelievable! The first bottle I purchased, exploded in my cabinet. Just out of the blue, with no reason what so ever. Never experienced anything similar. The second bottle started running as soon as I opened it. Anyways,

Pours murky orange, with almost no head. Some settlement is noticeable.

Malts, hops, cloves, spices and orange peels in the aroma.

Light and pale flavor. Fizzy! Some hops, malts and citric notes.

La Chouffe 330ml, 8% - Belgium

Pours murky orange with a whitish head.

Lot's of yeast up front. Spices and bananas in the aroma.

Yeasty and malty flavor. Lot's of pepper.

Matilda 2008 355ml, 7% - USA

Pours amber with a short tan head.

Sour notes up front. Fruit and yeasty aroma.

Malts and yeast in the flavor. Spicy with hints of caramel.

Lupulus Amber 750ml, 7.5% - Belgium

Light murky orange with a frothy, vanilla head. Tons of small settlement seeds floating around the glass.

Fruits, malts, nuts and yeast in the aroma.

Malty flavor. Bready, hoppy and with a touch of caramel.

Schommelpeird 330ml, 12% - Belgium

Pours blurry amber with a two finger creamy head.

Malty and bready notes up front, nutty aroma.

Sweet and malty flavor. Bready with caramel and light spices.

Very gentle, the high abv is hardly noticeable.

Tsjeeses Reserva 750ml, 10% - Belgium

Pours hazy orange with no head.

Wood, citrus, plums, malts, hops and yeast in the aroma.

Sour taste. Woody notes with visible hints of fruits. Spicy with yeast, apples and hints of caramel.

Yummy!

Pipedream 330ml, 7.8% - Belgium

Poured dark orange with a bubbly, air full head.

Yeast, malts and mango in the aroma.

Fruity flavor which is quite bitter at the same time. Full of hops and malts. Rather spicy.

St. Sebastiaan Grand Cru 500ml, 7.6% - Belgium

Poured grummy orange with a foamy two finger head.

Fruity and yeasty aroma. Malts, dried orange peels and spices.

The flavor is quite yeasty with a lot of citric notes. Grassy hints, together with malts and light Belgian spices.

Augustijn Grand Cru 750ml, 9% - Belgium

Murky orange with a huge creamy head.

Hops, exotic fruits and yeast in the aroma.

Hoppy flavor with exotic fruits, orange, malts, spices and yeast.

Good beer!

Papegaei 750ml, 8% - Belgium

Poured light, murky orange with a small head.

Light malty aroma. Yeasty and spicy. Hops with citrus.

Cloves up front. Sweet and malty flavor. Tropical fruits together with hops. Bitter finish. Very nice beer.

La Guillotine 330ml, 8.5% - Belgium

Poured crystal clear golden color with a small white head. This actually has a typical lager appearance.

Lot's of yeast of front here. The aroma is quite spicy, together with hops, malts, citrus and cloves.

Belgian yeast, hops, flowers, spices and citrus in the flavor. Light sweetness overcomes by the bitterness.

Reasonable carbonation makes it easy to drink.

Melchior Calvados Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 11% - Belgium

Poured murky orange, no head. Very still.

Light sourness in the aroma. Yeast, apples, hops and spices.

The flavor is a bit winy and bitter. Sour, wild apples, small hints of cherries, pepper and yeast. Boozy aftertaste.

Fun to try stuff like this. =)

De Dolle Lichtervelds Blond 330ml, 9% - Belgium

Pours cloudy dark orange with a nice, frothy head.

Aroma consists of yeast, citrus, hops and spices.

Candy, malts, brown sugar and caramel flavor. Fruity with some spices, mostly pepper. Bitter towards the end.

De Dolle hasn't let me down yet!

De Dolle Bos Keun 330ml, 10% - Belgium

Poured dark, hazy orange with an enormous air full, rocky, crispy, white head. It takes ages to settle, meanwhile leaving a lot of sticky lacing around the glass.

Sweet floral aroma. Fruity, yeasty, hoppy and full of candy.

Sour and fruity flavor. Sweet, but bitter at the same time. Spicy and yeasty. Malty with citrus at the end. Lot's of bananas here as well.

Great product from a great brewery!

Melchior Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 11.5% - Belgium

Poured typical Earl Gray color with no head.

Sweet and sour aroma. Apples, yeast and citrus.

Starts off with a nice, sweet and fruity flavor. Then goes slowly over to sour and bitter finish. Lovely yeasty touch towards the end.

Delirium Tremens 330ml, 8.5% - Belgium

Poured orange with a small, white head. Tons of settlement here, doesn't look so attractive to be honest.

Lot's of yeast up front, spices, cloves and citrus in the aroma.

Sweet taste, malty with some spicyness and citrus. Honey with yeast and some white bread.

Very nice beer. Now to the Nocturnum.

Funky E Star 750ml, 9.39% - Denmark

Very murky orange with a crispy head.

Hops, malts, fruits. The aroma has got it all.

Earthly hops, grass, citrus and pines flavor. Sweet and slightly bitter.

Another lovely beer from Mikkeller.

Cuvée Van De Keizer Rood 750ml, 10.5% - Belgium

Light yellow color with some settlement, little head.

Very fruity aroma. Exotic fruits, mango, pineapples. Malty and spicy.

Sweet caramel, sugar, syrup, fruits, lot's of apples in the flavor.

I love Belgian beer! =)
