Bière Nouvelle 750ml, 8% - France

Poured blurry amber color with an airfull, crispy, white head.

Sweet malty aroma. Quite bready, with some honey and biscuit.

Some boozyness up front. Malts, citrus, yeast, bread and hoppy bitterness.

Saint Landelin Spéciale Noël 750ml, 6.8% - France

How about a Christmas beer from France?

Murky orange color, vanilla head with some lacing.

Smells like a soaked kitchen cloth. Cheap and disgusting smell.

I could barely make it though half of the glass. The taste is no better than the smell. It simply taste like a cheap lager with fruits.

Perhaps the French should stick to making wine? :)

What a piece of crap! Avoid at all cost!!
