BFM Ambrée 750ml, 6% - Switzerland

Unclear, light brown appearance with a one finger tan head.

Malty aroma with light hints of smoke. Fruity with some citric notes.

The flavor reminds me of a Rauchbier which was blended with water. Light smoky tones, salty with hints of ham and sausage.

I don't really know what to make of this.

Spezial Rauchbier Märzen 5.3% - Germany

Pours dark ruby red with a fluffy tan head.

Roasted malts together with plums, which are quite dominating here. Slight smokyness in the background.

Smoky flavor. Roasted malts here as well, together with plums and a light salty touch.

I wish this was more full bodied.

The flavor is reflecting the nose. Roasted malts, caramel, spices and hoppy bitterness.

Not bad at all!

Mariestads Påskbrygd 500ml, 5.8% - Sweden

Poured brown with a small tan head.

Malty, butter, bready aroma.

Bitter malty flavor. Very little roastyness.

This is one hell of a boring beer. But I didn't expect any better from Mariestads anyway.
