Mikkeller Yeast Series: Hefeweizen 330ml, 8% - Denmark

Malty and bready flavor. Yeast and hops, hints of biscuit.

Haystack Wheat 355ml, 5% - USA

Pours murky orange with almost no head. Lot's of bubbles.

Bananas, cloves, citrus aroma together with some yeast and wheat.

The taste has pretty much the same characteristics as the nose. Bitter hops are present. A bit dry and less carbonation would help.

Sigtuna Vårweizen 500ml, 5% - Sweden

Poured murky orange with an air full, crispy white head.

Spicy aroma. Some cloves and bananas.

I didn't expect this taste at all. It's more dark, bitter and spicy than your usual hefe. Lot's of cloves up front, whey is slightly noticeable. I don't get any "American Hops" as advertised on the label.

Wild Frog Wheat Ale 650ml, 6% - USA

It's time to try more beers from the Hoppin' Frog Brewery. :)

Light amber color, small head which settled instantly.

Fresh smell, some malts together with yeast and bananas.

Sweet fruity taste. I get a lot of apples, some malts and very little yeast.

Fizzy mouth feel. At first the carbonation is a bit distracting, but then you get used to it.
