Samuel Smith's Yorkshire Stingo 550ml, 9% - England

Pours sort of red/copper with a creamy tan head.

Malts, caramel, dark fruits, biscuit and hints of spices in the aroma.

A great mixture of dark fruits in the flavor. Malts, biscuit, caramel and spices. Hints of oak and alcohol towards the end.

Samuel Smith's Imperial Stout 350ml, 7% - England

Black color with a think, brown head. Very stable.

Sweet and malty smell, together with a touch of caramel.

Rich flavor of roasted barley, malts with a little sense of hops. Dark chocolate, sugar, a bit yeasty, adds up with toffee and alcohol.

This beer is too good to be ignored.

Samuel Smith's India Ale 550ml, 5% - England

Amber red color topped with a two finger whipped cream head.

Fresh summer smell of malts and hops.

Sweet floral taste, together with hints of malts. Bitter hoppy after taste.

Something I'd recommend for a warm summer evening.

Samuel Smith's The Famous Taddy Porter 550ml, 5% - England

Generous pour, "Guinness" black color with a light brown, thick head.

Lovely smell of roasted malts, sugar, toffee and some smoke.

Very light taste. Consists of tobacco, roasted malts, hints of coffee are well hidden, hoppy, bitter after taste.

Another great beer from SS with a surprisingly low abv of 5%.

Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale 550ml, 5% - England

I bought a few SS brews on my previous trip to Denmark. Never tried any of them before, so this was pretty exciting.

We'll start off with Nut Brown Ale.

Poured brown red into a tulip. Crispy golden head, with some lacing.

Smells like almond nuts, hints of caramel, smokey smell.

Roasted malts with bitter hops. Slightly noticeable touch of caramel, smokey after taste. After half of the glass I even got a taste of a strong, cold tea.

Feels very soft and gentle in the mouth. Well balanced carbonation and I think the abv level is just about right for this beer.
