Pours black with a brown, frothy head.

Hops, salt, licorice, dark chocolate and roasted malts in the aroma.

Lot's of hops up front, then followed by roasted malts, dark chocolate, coffee beans and a bit of licorice towards the end.

Bitter finish.

Nils Oscar Coffee Stout 330ml, 6% - Sweden

Poured pitch black with pretty much no head.

Very sweet and fruity aroma. Vanilla, coffee and caramel.

The flavor does reflect the aroma, but it does need more character, more flavor!

It's very weak.

Fru Frederiksen 500ml, 7% - Denmark

Poured black with a small tan head.

Roasted malts, licorice and dark chocolate in the aroma.

The flavor consists of roasted malts with smokyness in the background. Slightly salty and with hints of licorice. A bit dry.
