Hercule Stout 330ml, 9% - Belgium

The beer started running as soon as I opened the bottled. Pitch black color with a cappuccino head.

Sour, salty and licorice aroma. Together with roasted malts.

Soft and milky taste. Gives out a lot of whiskey tones. Little bit of toffee is noticeable too. I even get some tar here.

Not enough flavor, it's more medium body than full. I just didn't enjoy this as much.

Quintine Ambrée 330ml, 8.5% - Belgium

Poured bemused orange with a frothy white head, which leaves some sticky lacing around the glass. Small portions of settlement entered the glass during the pour.

Fruity smell, consistent mostly of apples, pears and some cherries. A bit bready with a small hint of caramel.

Quite an odd taste really. Malty, bready yeasty, some caramel and hops at the end. Kind of acidic too, with a small alcohol feel in the aftertaste.
