BFM La Cuivrée 330ml, 5.2% - Switzerland

Hazy amber color with a one finger creamy head.

Aroma consists of yeast, malts, citrus, hay and vegetables.

Tarty flavor. Little bit of malts together with some fruits. Sour towards the end.

Halmstad Sommar Lager 330ml, 4.7% - Sweden

Clear golden color with a tiny head.

Very pale aroma. Some citrus, malts and bread.

Typical Swedish lager, which is completely tasteless and disgusting.

Just avoid this at all cost!

S:t Eriks Sommarlager 330ml, 4.7% - Sweden

Poured crystal clear, pale, light golden color. The head is white and fluffy. Some lacing is noticeable.

Citrus, grass, hops and small hints of pines in the aroma. A surprisingly good aroma for this caliber.

Citrus, dried orange peels, hops and light tones of grapefruit.

Simcoe sure did the trick on this one.

Oppigårds Slåtteröl 500ml, 5% - Sweden

Clear golden color with a tiny head. Typical appearance for a Europe Pale Lager.

Hoppy aroma which is rather pale. I even get a buttery hint here.

Flavor consists of mixed hops, light maltyness and citrus.

Pass!

Pistonhead Hot Roddin' Lager 330ml, 5% - Sweden

Well, since everybody is dissing this beer on the internet, I thought I'd join as well.

Poured a clear, typical "storstark" color. Small white head.

It smells like a typical "storstark" you'll get a your "kvarterskrog". A bit malty and bready, but nothing to get excited over at all.

Haha, this does taste like shit. I guess Spendrups just renamed Norrlands or something in that category? Honestly, who are they fooling? Where are all those magic, fresh earthy and breathtaking hops that they mention on the label?

Guess what? I bought this only for fun and I will never buy it again.

So pass, pass and pass!

Btw, this is the very first Swedish beer I'm reviewing on my blog. I will try my very best to add more, since I do resident in this country.

Castello 660ml, 5% - Italy

I've noticed that pretty much all Italian beer come in a 660ml bottle, intead of our regular 500ml. I don't like reviewing beers when drinking from the bottle. Light and refreshing taste, reminds me of Heineken.
