Mikkeller Festival Special Edition 2010 – Stella 1 1500ml, 8.4% - Denmark


Pours black with a creamy, brown head.

Roasted malts, tar, hops, tobacco and a small hint of soil in the aroma.

Roasted malts up front here! Caramel with chocolate, coffee beans and bread. Quite a good flavor.

    How was the drinkability? I have one in my cellar waiting för it to be drinked. Do you think it would benefit from aging?

    It was pretty hoppy and I think beers like this are not for aging. The benefit of hops would be lost. Enjoy it now. :)
