Pitch black poured into a sniffer. Chocolate two finger head.
Dark, roasty smell, salty and sweet at the same time. Some chocolate with notes of whiskey. Vanilla and alcohol.
The taste is very complex. It's like sipping on a glass full of smoke. Dried fruits, mostly plums, salty notes here, very smokey after taste, followed by whiskey tones.
Dry mouth feel, quite bitter. Makes me thirsty after each sip.
This sure was a fun experience. It's not something that I'd buy again, although I would recommend this to whiskey enthusiasts.
