This beer bottle was going to expire April 2010. The label felt off and the bottle looked rather weathered. When I opened it, the foam couldn't stop running!
Poured extremely dark brown, almost black. Dark foam full with air, leaving crispy and sticky lacing around the glass.
Very sweet and fruity aroma, hot spices.
Delightful taste full of raisins, dried fruits, citrus, apples, maybe even some roasted caramel, Belgian spices.
The high abv is almost unnoticeable.
Lovely Belgian, go out and get one!
