St. Bernardus Abt 12 330ml, 10.5% - Belgium


Dark brownish color with almost no head.

Fruity smell, mostly plums, some raisins.

Sweet taste starts off with dried fruits, chocolate, caramel and malt. Finishes with spices and rather strong alcohol after taste.

High carbonation, I'd prefer it to be more flatter.

    Was this part of the beers you imported? Or how did you get your hands on them?

    I tried the 12 and their Tripel at Akkurat a while back. The Tripel was really nice.

    Try it if you ever are in stockholm, think it only costs 78 SEK which is very affordable.

    78kr is not much at all. Haven't been in Stockholm in ages and don't really feel like going there, hehe. Gothenburg is my kind of city. But tbh, I'm not in a hurry. I'm sure I'll try it some time very soon.
