Poured dark brown with no head what so ever. Very still!
Madeira wine aroma. Very fruity, some cherries stick out. Small hints of chocolate and vanilla.
Slightly roasted malts with light tones of burned sugar. Dark fruits, mostly raisins. Chocolate with caramel and a bit of vanilla. Lovely mixture and blend of flavors. Medium bodied and very still.
This beer did remind me a lot of "Old Ale" style.
