Hops, malts, citric notes and dark chocolate in the aroma.

Chocolate, together with malts, vanilla and coffee beans in the flavor.

Never been a fan of Belgian stouts!

Alvinne Melchior 330ml, 11% - Belgium

Pours deep orange with a rocky head. Tons of settlement in the glass.

Exotic fruits, strawberries, syrup, malts and yeast in the aroma.

Sweet flavor. Belgian candi sugar, yeast, malts, hops and pepper.

Lovely beer!

Melchior Mackmyra Barrel Oak Aged 375ml, 11.5% - Belgium

Pours murky copper with a white off head.

Tart and sour aroma, a bit fruity.

Sweet and at the same time bitter flavor. Fruity, nutty and boozy.

Podge Glenrothes Barrel Oak Aged 375ml, 10.5% - Belgium

Pours deep brown with a tan head.

Roasted malts, wood, berries and vinous notes in the aroma.

Toasted flavor. Lot's of wood here with chocolate and anis.

Alvinne Chelmsford Oak Smoked Porter 330ml, 5.1% - Belgium

Pours brown with a tan bubbly head.

Slightly roasted malts, hops and fruits in the aroma.

The taste in rather thin. Some roasted malts, strong tea resemblance. With a bitter aftertaste.

Caper Fumatis 330ml, 6.7% - Belgium

Poured murky brown with a frothy, tan head.

Hops, caramel and hints of smoke in the aroma.

Malts, hops, salty notes with some smoke in the background.

Pipedream 330ml, 7.8% - Belgium

Poured dark orange with a bubbly, air full head.

Yeast, malts and mango in the aroma.

Fruity flavor which is quite bitter at the same time. Full of hops and malts. Rather spicy.

Alvinnes Naked Ladies 330ml, 4.4% - Belgium

Murky orange with a whipped cream, white head.

Yeast, passion fruit and hops in the aroma.

Hoppy flavor. Fruity with grassy notes. Slightly citric. Easy to drink, tastes good at low abv.

Alvinne / Urthel Witte Roock 750ml, 6% - Belgium

Cloudy orange appearance with a large frothy head. Sticky lacing is noticeable.

Exotic fruits, yeast and hops in the aroma.

Bitter hops, grass, dried orange peels and spices in the flavor.

I get very little smokey notes in the aftertaste. Are they sure that it's a smoked beer?

Mano Negra Glenrothes Barrel Oak Aged 375ml, 10% - Belgium

Poured black with a one finger mocha head.

Wood, soil and licorice in the aroma. Tiny hints of dark chocolate.

Boozy flavor. Light hint of chocolate, brown sugar, malts and wood.

Not too impressed with this really..

Mano Negra Bladnoch Barrel Oak Aged 375ml, 10% - Belgium

Pours deep brown, almost black. Tiny light brownish head.

Wood up front, you can smell the oak. Citric notes and malts.

Thin whiskey notes, hints of wood and licorice. Small boozyness and dark chocolate in the flavor.

Struise Alvinne Keralensis 330ml, 6% - Belgium

Poured a very nice red color with a thin pinkish head.

Tons of cherries with lambic notes and wood. Pretty sour aroma.

Lovely flavor. Tart cherries, sour notes together with vitamin C.

Cuvée Freddy Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 8% - Belgium

Poured dark brown with pretty much no head.

Sour notes, cherries, citrus and woody aroma.

Sweet, bitter and sour flavor. Woody and citric notes. Cherries and yeast.

Lovely beer!

Kerasus Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 5.5% - Belgium

Only 250 bottles were made!

Poured murky red with no head.

Sour and sweet aroma. Cherries with a lot of citric notes.

The taste is not as sour as I thought it would be. Well balanced with sweetness. Cherries, yeast and vitamin C. Very little bitterness towards the end.

Not bad at all!

Podge Belgian Imperial Stout 330ml, 10.5% - Belgium

Dark brown appearance with no head. I tried to force it out. Pretty much still, with almost no carbonation.

Roasted malts, milk chocolate, coffee and dark fruits in the aroma.

Roasted malts in the flavor as well. Lot's of salt and licorice. Coffee with chocolate and raisins.

Not a bad product, but I don't like RIS from Belgium as much as I do from the states.

Balthazar 330ml, 9% - Belgium

Poured deep brown with an air full, tan head.

Totally unexpected aroma. Quite spicy and acidic. Coriander, citrus, malts and yeast.

Lot's of coriander and ginger up front. Pepper, citrus and malts in the flavor.

This is a rather different approach, although I'm not sure that I like it. Too bad about the strong carbonation.

Gaspar Ale 330ml, 8% - Belgium

Poured murky orange with a one finger frothy head.

Sweet and fruity aroma. Citrus, passion fruit, hops and light spices.

Very floral and fruity flavor. Gently hoppy bitterness, caramel, citrus, peaches and yeast.

Podge Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 10.5% - Belgium

Poured black with a one finger tan head.

Roasted malts up front, caramel, coffee, soil and small hints of tobacco.

Slightly dry and sour flavor. We have roasted malts, dark chocolate, salt and soil.

Far from full bodied though.

Melchior Calvados Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 11% - Belgium

Poured murky orange, no head. Very still.

Light sourness in the aroma. Yeast, apples, hops and spices.

The flavor is a bit winy and bitter. Sour, wild apples, small hints of cherries, pepper and yeast. Boozy aftertaste.

Fun to try stuff like this. =)

Alvino Bourgogne Barrel Oak Aged 750ml, 5.5% - Belgium

Poured light blurry brown with a tiny tan head.

Red wine aroma. Dark fruits, cherries, apples, light notes of vinegar and mild sweetness.

This does taste like red wine, which was mixed with an ale. Cherries, oak, spices.

Very interesting beer, I didn't know what to expect from it.
